Résumé

We discuss the interest and difficulties of research methods when using the Internet as a research field and infrastructure. Our article presents an approach to investigating this particular use of the Internet that has been tested in the field of didactics to reflect on the challenges and pitfalls that the researcher may face. The anthropological theory of the didactic (ATD) was used as a theoretical framework to study the inquires carried out in two doctoral researches based on an approach involving the collection of data and materials on the Internet. The conditions, constraints and points of vigilance when conducting an Internet based inquiry are then discussed.
